打包最新的病毒定義檔整合到Symantec AntiVirus用戶端安裝程式中

一、SAV用戶端安裝程式有一個VDefHub.zip是病毒定義檔，從賽門鐵克的Norton AntiVirus for Windows 2000/XP/Vista(繁體中文網頁、英文網頁)可以找到最新的病毒定義檔。

二、病毒定義檔的檔案名稱是發行日期-更新版本號-支援版本號做為判別，現在需要的是支援SAV用戶端的，所以要下載20080609-003-i32.exe。

三、下載完20080609-003-i32.exe後，將裡面的VIRSCAN.ZIP解壓縮出來，然後改名成VDefHub.zip再替換到SAV用戶端安裝程式底下的VDefHub.zip，這樣就會在安裝SAV用戶端的時候也同時安裝最新的病毒定義檔。

FortiGate 3000 HA 切換 Master / Slave

7/7 更換 FortiGate 3000 power supply
原先以為只要更改HA Config裡的priority參數，就可以切換Master/Slave，
(FortiGate Priority數值越高，優先權越高）
後來發現FortiGate-01 & FortiGate-02在設定HA參數時，都是設定Set override disable，
造成不會切換Master / Slave。

於FortiGate 3000-01及Fortigate 3000-02中修改Set override enable，
此時更換Proirity數值，即會自動切換Master / Slave。

VMWare Install from USB

If you have a host that doesn't have a CD-ROM or want to modify oem.tgz, you may find it easier to extract the ISO image to a USB flash drive and then run your install from it. The below method will allow you to create a USB flash drive which you can then use to install ESXi to a local drive on your host.

1) Download and extract the latest version of Syslinux. For this process I used version 3.72.
2) Insert the USB flash drive that you plan to use. It will require about 300 MB free space for the ESXi install files and should be formatted as FAT32. If you're using Windows make a note of the drive letter that is assigned to the drive. With Linux you can run fdisk -l to determine the device node (/dev/sdX).
3) For Windows run the command ..\win32\syslinux.exe and for Linux run ../linux/syslinux /dev/sdX. This command will alter the boot partition on the device and copy over the file ldlinux.sys to the root directory.
4) Extract the contents of the ESXi install CD to the USB flash drive. If you plan to modify oem.tgz you can copy over the file at this time as well.
5) On the USB flash drive rename the file isolinux.cfg to SYSlinux.cfg.

The USB flash drive will now be ready to be used in a host to install ESXi. If you have problems booting the flash drive, you might want to try one of these options of the syslinux command in step 3.
-s - this option causes Syslinux to use simpler code which boots easier on some older BIOSes.
-f - this option will force the install
-m - (Windows only) - this will install a bootable MBR sector at the beginning of the drive
-a - this marks the partions as active (bootable)

Failed to uninstall the driver

Issue:
When you want to remove/uninstall a driver, for example, “BitDefender Firewall NDIS Filter Miniport”, you get an error message “Failed to uninstall the device. The device may be required to boot up the computer”. In mandarin, “無法解除安裝裝置。裝置可能是開機必需的裝置。” .
Solution:
1, run “devmgmt.msc” and browse to the device you want to remove/uninstall.
2, right click and pick “properties”, go to “details” tab.
3, read the value assigned to “Device Instance Id”, in my case for example, “ROOT\SW_BDFNDISFMP007″.
4, run “regiedit” and browse to HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum
5, HERE, according to the value in step 4, further browse to HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum\Root\SW_BDFNDISFMP007
6, right click the folder 0007, click “Permissions”, and tick to allow Full Control for everyone. Click Apply and OK.
7, Now, you have the right to remove the folder. Right click the folder 0007 and click “delete”.
8, Go back to Device Manager and you can see the driver had been removed.

清除暫存檔案，加快機台執行快能
1. 將nuvi機台與電腦以USB傳輸線連接進入隨身碟模式。

2. 點選nuvi磁碟機，進入Garmin資料夾。

3. 將GPX資料夾複製備份至電腦中（GPX資料夾內的檔案包含使用者個人儲存的喜愛點及航線資料）。

4. 資料複製完畢，將nuvi機台關機。

5. 重新開機前，請按壓螢幕右下角不放，再行開啟，直至螢幕畫面出現提示視窗再放開。

6. 提示詢問是否清除所有使用者資料，點選「是」進行資料清除。

Cacti由於超時無法讀取數據解決方法

在利用Cacti監控時候遇到讀取數據不據定，分析後透過以下改動得以改善

修改 /etc/php.ini
將 memory_limit改大至32M以上（Default
32M）

同時設置增加Cacti下面的snmp
time out延長加大至500以上

百分比監控算法

cacti本身的模板只可以監控硬碟的使用大小，而不能監控使用非分率，所以我們要自定義cdef來監控硬碟使用率，並借助thold插件實現報警功能。網上找的資料都是在cacti.0.8.6版上實現的，而我用的是cacti.0.8.7版。因此，根據實際情況做如下改動︰



在cacti目錄下，vi global_arrays.php

搜索custom_data_source_types，修改這一段如下︰

假設你要將一個名叫test目錄下的txt檔和jpg檔全部改名為exe檔。
先切換到該目錄下。

執行此指令for %f in (*.txt *.jpg) do ren %f %~nf.exe
參數解說：%f : 接收檔案全名(包括副檔名)的變數。
(例 : 1.txt or 2.jpg)(*.txt *.jpg) :
就是指這個目錄下的所有txt檔跟jpg檔
ren : 更改檔案名稱。%f : 取出來的檔案全名(包括副檔名)。
%~nf.exe : 只取出檔案名稱(不包括副檔名)。(例 : 1.exe or 2.exe)

發生的原因：
在您嘗試使用修復安裝(重新安裝)您的Windows XP後，你可能會發現自動更新安裝失敗，或您透過 Internet Explorer 連結 Microsoft Windows Update 網站進行更新時，會出現很多個更新下載正常，卻無法安裝。
解決方案：

1. 請先下載 wufix.zip壓縮檔 (http://download.microsoft.com/download/b/d/0/bd0dba9f-655f-4fbd-8147-86aa7a88df50/wufix.zip)
2. 下載完成後，[滑鼠右鍵]點選該壓縮檔 wufix.zip，並選擇[解壓縮全部]。
3. 於[壓縮資料匣解壓縮精靈]的畫面中，請按下[下一步]繼續，接著請選擇你欲存放該檔案的位置，確認後請按[下一步]，接著選擇[完成]。
4. 按下[完成]後，會自動開啟一個新視窗，請連點兩下來執行其中的 wufix.exe
5. 執行該程式時，您將會看見一個黑色的視窗，請耐心等待，該視窗會自行關閉
6. 完成上述步驟後，請再次執行Windows Update

13. Exit the Registry Editor.

無法存取 Windows Installer 服務。可能是因為 Windows 處於安全模式，或是 Windows Instaler 並未正確安裝。

1)使用記事本編寫 installer.reg 檔，內容如下：

然後存檔類型選所有檔案，文件命名為 installer.reg，記得存成".reg"格式。雙擊該檔，將檔案內容寫入REGISTRY。
2) 重新啟動電腦進入安全模式(啟動時按F8鍵，選安全模式
3) 開始->執行->打入cmd按enter，在命令提示字元視窗中輸入msiexec /regserver [ENTER]　這樣便可重新將Windows Installer安裝至服務中。
4) 重新啟動系統。
